Mission
Why Her Finance World exists.
Growing up between three languages and two cultures, I figured out pretty early that opportunity isn't handed out evenly — and that, almost everywhere I looked, women were getting the smaller share.
That thought stuck. The more I read — about unbanked women in rural economies, wage gaps that compound across a lifetime, inheritance laws that quietly do the most damage — the more it felt like a story that wasn't being told loudly enough, or in places people my age actually look.

So I started Her Finance World. Not as a lecture, and definitely not as a textbook — more like a notebook I'm willing to share. The goal is to make this stuff readable, honest, and a little bit unignorable, built around the real women navigating these systems every day.
What we cover
The topics that keep showing up.
The Wealth Gap
How money concentrates, who gets left out, and why the gap between men and women isn't closing as fast as headlines suggest.
Women in Finance
Interviews and profiles of women working in banking, investing, fintech, and economics — the ones who made it and the ones still climbing.
Global Perspectives
What financial inequality looks like in Serbia, Spain, Latin America, and beyond. Same problem, different rules.
Access & Barriers
Banking, credit, inheritance, property rights. The systems that keep women from building wealth even when they do everything right.
How we do it
A few rules I try not to break.
No jargon without context.
If I use a term like "financial inclusion" or "compound interest," I explain what it actually means for a real person. This site is for people who are curious, not people who already have an economics degree.
Every story centers a real woman.
Data sets the stage, but people are the point. Whether it's an interview with a woman in private equity or a profile of a small-business owner in rural Serbia, the human story comes first. The numbers are there to back it up, not replace it.
No pretending I know everything.
I'm learning as I go. If I get something wrong, I fix it. If I don't know enough about a topic yet, I say so. The goal isn't to sound like an expert — it's to build something trustworthy by being honest about what I do and don't know.
Where this goes
I want Her Finance World to become a small but serious voice in a conversation that usually happens without young people at the table.
That means more interviews. It means video content that doesn't feel like homework. It means building a tiny community of people who believe that understanding money is a form of power — and that more women should have it. If that sounds like something you want to be part of, I'm easy to find.
